‘Peekypeekypeek’ debuted as my Haten wildcard back in 2024, showing the innovative ‘Duncan technique’ that involved filter manipulation and launchpad controls that allowed for unique one shot utilization.
This track was my first crack at fancier chord progressions layered on top of good ol’ bass movement, marking experimentation in my musical choices as well. The one shot mashing and texture changing makes ‘Peekypeekypeek’ a nightmare to perform live, yet a thrill at the same time for the very same reason!
No other loop track I’ve made quite hits this feeling quite the same in terms of performance satisfaction.
