‘Bassbound’ is a track made specifically for Great North Battle 2025, with the intention to recreate the 100-110 bpm boombap bass music archetype that I commonly used in the SY era.
With a long rap section and limited button mashing needed, Bassbound is a rather simple track to perform that provides just as much heavy bass energy! The surprise at the last drop with the Behemoth reference makes the track a true crowd pleaser, showing unique ways the fx banks can be utilized to create breaks and fake drops in context.
